Georgia Bulldog named as Bengals' 'best-kept' secret
· Yahoo Sports
Former Georgia Bulldogs offensive guard Dylan Fairchild is coming off a productive rookie season where he started 15 games with the Cincinnati Bengals after being selected in the third-round of the 2025 NFL draft. Fairchild has been named as the Bengals "best-kept secret" in a recent Bleacher Report article by Brent Sobleski.

Fairchild and the rest of the Bengals' offensive line is looking to help ease some of the pressure on star quarterback Joe Burrow. Burrow has had issues staying healthy in recent seasons, but not all of that is the offensive line's fault. The Bengals have had one of the NFL's worst defenses over the past couple of seasons and need to do a better job of playing complementary football.
"While rough patches were seen during Fairchild's rookie campaign, the arrow is pointing up for what could be a stellar career," Sobleski wrote. Fairchild, like most offensive linemen, is not exactly a household name. His job is really to continue to stay under the radar as the Bengals look to protect Burrow.
The 6-foot-5, 320-pound offensive guard is ready to make a jump in his second season in the NFL. In Cincinnati, Fairchild plays with one of his former Georgia teammates, offensive tackle Amarius Mims.
The Bengals open their 2026 NFL season at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 1 p.m. ET.
