He finished the game with a team-high 20 points, including 6-of-14 from the field in the win over Clemson. All six of those makes were from the three-point line, including a few in a stretch during the second half. It ignited the crowd as well as his team as he drew some praise from his head coach.
But after the game, Bogavac talked about the night Seth Trimble had and how the senior guard really helped him when he got to North Carolina. For someone coming from overseas, it's an entirely different lifestyle that Bogavac had to adjust to. Trimble helped him out.
"Unbelievable guy. He's an unbelievable guy. His family is really unbelievable," Bogavac said. "They really welcomed me as part of their family. So I can only say great things about him."
Trimble and his family really helped Bogavac get used to the American culture and what the North Carolina program means overall. They welcomed him in and Bogavac wanted to make sure he helped deliver a win for Trimble as well as Elijah Hicks on their senior nights.
"Just to know there are a couple of guys who will never play again here for North Carolina, (I just wanted to) help them, no matter which way, somehow just to win this game," Bogavac said.
He did just that with the barrage of three-pointers on the night. Now, the hope is that Bogavac can help get them to a deep March run.
