The 2026 NFL Combine elevated Reese’s stock as a top prospect in this year’s draft class. Reese’s name has been propped up next to Indiana’s Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza, Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love, as well as Reese’s teammate, safety Caleb Downs, as perhaps the best prospect among the pool of talent coming out this year.

Here's what Davis said about Reese landing in Tennessee for his first post-combine mock:

“The Ohio State lads were highly impressive as a group at the combine,” Davis said. “Reese heads to the Music City as the first Buckeye to hear his name called by the commissioner.”

Mendoza goes No. 1 overall to the Las Vegas Raiders, per usual, while Love goes No. 3 to the Arizona Cardinals in this mock draft. Texas Tech outside linebacker David Bailey is sandwiched in between the two, with the New York Jets taking him at No. 2 overall.

Reese views himself as an edge rusher at the NFL level, per ESPN’s Mike Reiss. The Titans select a versatile linebacker that was accustomed to playing at several spots in the defense for Ohio State in 2025. The Ohio native recorded 6.5 sacks as well as 10 tackles for loss last season.
