It's two Triple Crown wins in two days for Ireland, as the Under-20s beat Scotland 47-14 at Virgin Media Park in the final round of the Under-20 Six Nations Championship to keep their slim title hopes alive.
Despite Scotland making a bright start and putting early pressure on Ireland, Andrew Browne's side ran out convincing winners, with four tries in the first half laying the foundations for victory.
It was Ireland who got over for the first score of the match just seven minutes in as Duinn Maguire grounded the ball.
Rob Carney then thought he had scored Ireland's second try on 15 minutes, but it was chalked off by the TMO.
A second would soon arrive however as Tom Wood sent the ball out to Derry Moloney on the wing, who got over in the corner and Rob Carney then did similar for their third try.
The bonus point was secured before the break as Ben Blaney burst over to give Ireland a commanding half-time lead.
Ireland's first score of the second half came from Johnny O'Sullivan after he was set up by Charlie O'Shea.
Scotland then scored two quick tries of their own as Jamie McAughtrie broke from the maul to get over the line before Henry Widdowson chased down a chip and grounded the ball.
Christopher Barrett, who had been shifted from scrum-half to the left wing, got his fifth try of the campaign as he went storming towards the try line.
With a chance to finish on a high in the last play of the game, Ireland got their seventh try of the match as Christian Foley crossed to seal a fourth consecutive win in the championship.
Ireland have done their part to keep their title hopes alive and will now wait to see whether England can beat France with a big score in the final match of the Under-20s Six Nations on Sunday night to hand them the trophy.
