Arman Tsarukyan’s latest appearance outside the UFC is now set in stone.

It was a rematch that had some heat behind it, and Tsarukyan made sure to close the chapter with a decision win, putting their rivalry to bed once and for all. But that wasn’t the only headline from his evening. While speaking at ringside on Friday night, Mike Perry took the opportunity to make his pitch for a future clash with Tsarukyan under different rules.

However, Tsarukyan has now shifted focus. Speaking to Freddie’s Modern Kung Fu, he said there was only a 50 percent chance of the Danis fight taking place as talks between both parties are ongoing.
Now, it’s been announced that Tsarukyan will return to the wrestling mats on April 18th at RAF08 in Philadelphia.
The co-main event will see him take on UFC legend Urijah Faber. The headline bout features Merab Dvalishvili against Henry Cejudo. Faber had originally been lined up to face Cayden Henschel, who will now wrestle Lance Palmer instead.
This keeps up Tsarukyan’s active spell outside the UFC as he waits for a potential lightweight title shot. He’s staying ready and keeping his weight down in case he gets called up to step in against either Ilia Topuria or Justin Gaethje at the UFC White House event.
