Details about Dykes’ extension have yet to be officially announced.
Dykes was hired by TCU in 2022 after five seasons at SMU. He led the Horned Frogs to a 13-2 record and a national title game appearance in his first season. TCU has finished with 9-4 in each of the past two seasons and picked up wins in the New Mexico Bowl and Alamo Bowl.
TCU’s 36 wins since 2022 is most among any Big 12 program since Dykes was hired.
