· Yahoo Sports
The 2026 Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals has gone and went, and with it, kids from all across the country got to put their golfing fundamentals on display at Augusta National Golf Club. Six different states were represented among the winners of the various age divisions.
The program, which is geared towards boys and girls ages 7-15, aims to provide a welcoming environment for the youth to develop in the game of golf while also focusing on its three major skills: driving, chipping and putting. The divisions are split by gender into these four age groups: 7-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15.

Things that stood out at the 2026 Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals
Sophia Eagan, Girls 7-9
Eagan is the lone participant in the tournament that doesn't fall into any of the age ranges. While she competed in the 7-9-year-old girls group, she's actually only 6 years old. Eagan is the youngest qualifier in the history of the event and she had the sixth-highest score out of a 10-player division.
You are witnessing history 👏

Lucy Cui, Girls 12-13
In addition to winning her age division, Cui also became the first girl in her division's history to sink both of her putts. The feat also secured her spot as the top putter for her group as well with a score of 10.5.
No player in the Girls 12-13 division has ever made both putts... until now! 🔥

Colton Gress, Boys 14-15
Gress is notable because of his crosshanded approach to driving and chipping. Usually, the grip is saved for putting due to the need to be more accurate. But it looks like the Ohio native didn't lose much on his driving or chipping using that approach. He came in second in his age division.
Left hand low grip getting the job done 👏

Kipp Madison, Boys 14-15
Madison is well-known in these parts as an Augusta native who's been a staple in Drive, Chip and Putt over the last few years. He won the tournament in 2024 when he competed in the 12-13 age division. Madison, who's from Evans, finished T-3 this year.
