In the first week and a half, Taunton softball continued its undefeated run dating back to 2024, including a shutout win over Hockomock Kelley-Rex and MIAA Division 1 title rivals Attleboro while Bristol Aggie softball scored a pair of bombastic back-to-back wins and Bridgewater-Raynham softball opened its season with a shutout win. Bristol-Plymouth lacrosse got off to an undefeated start while Bridgewater-Raynham and Bristol Aggie lacrosse have looked solid in their opening games. Despite an opening loss, Bristol-Plymouth track had a double category dual meet winner while Bridgewater-Raynham had several winners in a four-school meet on its own track.
The Taunton Daily Gazette High School Girls Athlete of the Week for Feb. 16-22, the final of the Winter 2025-26 season, is Bristol Aggie/Dighton-Rehoboth’s Baylee Teixeira, receiving 56% of the vote. Bristol-Plymouth wrestling’s Rileigh Fagan came in second with 35% while Bridgewater-Raynham wrestling’s Kennedie Davis received 7% to finish third.

Medas went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs against Plymouth North.
Autumn Nicholson, Bristol Aggie
Nicholson went 4-for-5 with 3 runs and 5 RBIs off a pair of doubles and a grand slam against Blue Hills.
Bree Aldrich, Bristol-Plymouth
Aldrich went 3-for-5 with a double, 3 runs and 5 RBIs against Fontbonne Academy.
Lacrosse
Lucy Francis, Bridgewater-Raynham
Francis had 5 goals against Silver Lake.
Lex MacLeod, Bristol Aggie
MacLeod had 6 goals and 4 assists against South Shore Tech.
Emma Ericson, Bristol-Plymouth
Ericson had 5 goals and 3 assists against Bristol Aggie.
Track and Field
Zoey Onuegbu, Bristol-Plymouth
Onuegbu won both the 100 meter (0:13.9) and 200 meter (0:28.2) in a dual meet against Diman.
