Cameron Boozer Wins Another Big Award
· Yahoo Sports
As everyone knows by now, Cameron Boozer had an amazing year for Duke. He won the ACC Rookie of the Year, the ACC Player of the Year, the ACC Tournament MVP, First-Team All-American, the Karl Malone Award, the Oscar Robertson Trophy, The Sporting News Player of the Year NABC Player of the Year, USBWA Player of the Year, AP Player of the Year, Naismith Player of the Year, and now, the John Wooden Award.
If our count is correct, that’s 12 major post-season honors for young Boozer, which is insane for a freshman.

It’s also the first time that freshmen have won the Wooden Award back-to-back, and of course (Cooper Flagg won last year), and of course, both are from Duke.
It’s been an incredible pleasure to watch someone as young as Boozer play with such amazing maturity and focus. We hope his NBA journey is as great as his Duke journey has been.
