Jets select Oregon TE Kenyon Sadiq with 16th pick in 2026 NFL Draft

The New York Jets took Texas Tech EDGE David Bailey with their first pick (second overall) of the 2026 NFL Draft on Thursday, a pick that many expected them to make. Moving forward, New York had to think about who they would take with the second pick in the first round (16th) and it looks like they chose to maximize the amount of weapons for quarterback Geno Smith.
The Jets selected Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq on Thursday with the 16th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, one year after they selected tight end Mason Taylor in the second round.
