2026 NFL Draft picks: Dolphins trade back, pick Texas safety
· Yahoo Sports
The Miami Dolphins traded back from the 151st pick to the 158th selection, working with the Carolina Panthers in the deal. Miami also received the 200th pick, while giving the Panthers the 227th selection. After the dust settled from the deal, Miami selected Texas safety Michael Taaffe.
He likely comes in looking to provide depth at safety, though Miami needs assistance at the position and he could compete for a starting role. He can also provide special teams support.
