The Minnesota Vikings made a fairly significant trade during the 2026 NFL Draft, sending outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard to the Philadelphia Eagles, and in return, the Eagles are sending a 2026 3rd-round pick (no. 98) and a 2027 3rd-round pick for the talented pass rusher. The Eagles are extending Greenard, giving him a four-year, $100 million deal.

This trade has been hot on the rumor mill for weeks now, really since the Vikings went on their cutting spree, offloading big contracts to get under the salary cap. Talk of a Greenard trade has picked up in recent days, with the Eagles a likely landing spot.
For the Vikings, this shows a ton of trust in Dallas Turner, but with him not having a true running mate now, all the focus will now be on Turner to see if he can step up and lead this group.
