The 76ers finally have their first postseason series win against the Celtics. This is the first time they have done it since 1982, which was during the days when Julius Erving, Moses Malone, and Larry Bird played for either team.
It is a monumental achievement for the 76ers for a multitude of reasons. Aside from the 76ers' historical struggles, it was also the first 3-1 comeback since the 2020 Playoffs in the NBA Bubble.

Embiid was fantastic on Saturday night, getting 34 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists. Maxey followed that up with 30 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists. Considering Embiid is weeks removed from an appendectomy, this is even more impressive.
"It means everything. For him to do that for his team and us, he's been doing it all year, all his career, really. The city of Philadelphia should not take him for granted. Much love to Process," Maxey said after the Game 7 victory.
Now, the 76ers will have to prepare for a matchup against the New York Knicks. It will be yet another tough opponent, but with Embiid and Maxey leading the way for Philly, anything is possible.
