The Daily Bee: BV-Bleh

Good morning, Fear the Wall.
Heck of a game yesterday, huh? I was working on house projects during the match so I was mainly listening, and at one point the game disconnected (shoutout Hulu) and I’ll be honest, I didn’t put it back on for about 10 minutes. When organizing the yard equipment in my shed is better entertainment than top flight football… well.

A blistering 0.49 xG was all BVB had to offer and their late concession only felt fair. I know some of us are frustrated, but the season is over for Niko Kovac. With that said, I expect to see BVB hot out of the gates in August.
BVB News
- In an interview this weekend, Kovac went on the defensive, literally. He stood by his tactical approach, his focus on defense and deflected criticism, even citing Jurgen Klopp’s early BVB tenure. I like this from Kovac; it’s about time a BVB coach fights for their job and their ideals.
- Gregor Kobel is on Real Madrid’s list of potential long-term replacements for the oft-injured Thibeau Courtois.
- PSG and Barcelona are keeping an eye on Samuele Inacio. Can we just have him for a SEASON?
League News
- Some blue team got promoted.
- Angelo Stiller has been linked with a move to Juventus. He would become the first German midfielder to move to a team other than Bayern Munich in football history.
- Wolfsburg’s improving form has failed to bring them much closer to relegation safety. The face Bayern next, which surely will not go well.
Are you also disappointed that Mainz will not be relegated this season? I hope to one day see Mainz relegated.
