Two FSU baseball players ranked highly in national pitching rankings
· Yahoo Sports
The No. 12 Florida State baseball team has won four straight and is in a prime position to go to the NCAA Tournament. With an overall record of 34-14 and a conference record of 15-9, FSU is currently fourth in the ACC. A large part of their success is due to the extraordinary pitching.
Because of their on-field heroics, two players have been ranked among the top players in the country. For those unfamiliar, D1Baseball ranks players nationally in both regular pitching and relief pitching.

The two Seminoles players named to the list are starting pitcher Wes Mendes at No. 8 and relief pitcher John Abraham at No. 1. Mendes has put up an incredible ERA of 2.25, which leads the team, and an 8-3 record. Abraham's ERA is also an eye-watering 1.08 in relief.
Florida State continues its season when it travels to Clemson for a three-game series against the Tigers. Fans can catch the game on the ACC Network Extra at 6:00 p.m. ET.
