The American has not scored yet in 2026 but was set to start Sunday's game before pulling up in Saturday's training with an injury.

Pulisic is set to undergo tests to determine the severity of the issue. With just a month until the World Cup kicks off, the U.S. men's national team will be anxiously awaiting the results.

After scoring 10 times in the first half of the season, Pulisic has now gone a career-worst 17 straight games without a goal for AC Milan.

Pulisic also hasn't scored for the USMNT since 2024, but the 27-year-old is still expected to be a vital part of his team's efforts this summer.

In an interview with Time Magazine this week, Pulisic said he wasn't worried about his dip in form ahead of the World Cup.

“I plan on scoring goals," he said.

When asked if he had a message to anyone concerned about the goals drying up, he replied: “Such bad questions. I’m not concerned about it, man.”

The USMNT kicks off the World Cup against Paraguay in Los Angeles on June 12, before facing Australia and Turkey to close out the group stage.
