Safety target from Georgia locks in official visit with FSU

Florida State extended an offer to 2027 three-star safety Seth Williams back in April, which came about two weeks after he decommitted from the Clemson Tigers. Now, he's set to make his first appearance on their campus.

According to Noles247, Williams has scheduled an official visit with FSU on June 5. He also has an official visit set with the arch-rival of the Seminoles, the Florida Gators. That will take place on June 11.

Williams is coming off a very productive junior campaign at Lakeside High School. He registered 73 tackles, two tackles for loss, one interception, five pass breakups, and one forced fumble. Williams also contributed on offense as a wide receiver with 10 receptions for 222 yards and three touchdowns.

The 247Sports composite has listed Williams as the nation's No. 829 recruit and the No. 83 safety. In the state of Georgia, he's the No. 99 prospect.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder isn't the only safety in the Peach State that Florida State is in the mix for. Three-star prospect Jeremiah Proctor has named the Seminoles in his top five schools.
