Pictures posted to social media on Friday showed Anderson training with former LSU head coach Ed Orgeron. The pair worked at Elite Training Academy in Baton Rouge, which is two miles from LSU's campus.

Anderson headlined the 2026 signing class that ranked No. 12 nationally and No. 6 in the SEC, per Rivals' Industry Rankings. He finished as the No. 2 defensive lineman and No. 2 prospect out of Louisiana, second in both to fellow LSU signee Lamar Brown.

Orgeron built his coaching resume by leading the defensive line at Miami, Syracuse, USC, the New Orleans Saints and Tennessee before joining the head coaching ranks and arriving at LSU.

Since his firing 2021, Orgeron maintained a presence in the state and around LSU. Recently, he watched a baseball game, visited Mike the Tiger and posted a picture with his wife in Tiger Stadium. The Tigers' former leader remains open to a return to coaching as well.
