Ohio State women's golf makes second straight NCAA championship

Ohio State women's golf is headed to the NCAA championship for the second consecutive season.

The Buckeyes were runners-up at the Ann Arbor regional May 13, advancing them to the championship. Ohio State scored a 279-290-289 for a 6-over-par finish. USC, the regional winner, finished 1-over par.

Ohio State freshman Matilde Santilli shot a 2-over 73 in the final round and finished 1-under for the tournament to place sixth individually. Freshman Sophie Eppelstun had the best final round for the Buckeyes, shooting a 71 to place eighth overall (+1).

Ohio State will head to Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, for the NCAA Women's Golf Championship from May 22-27.

In 2025, the Buckeyes missed the cut after 54 holes of stroke play. Ohio State's top finisher individually was Kary Hollenbaugh, who finished +4 and tied for 36th.
