Cardinals schedule release: All the rumors, leaks for Arizona

The NFL schedule release is coming on Thursday evening. It begins at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. Arizona time), and the full schedule for every team will be revealed on NFL Network, ESPN2 and on the ESPN app and NFL+. But the Arizona Cardinals will announce their schedule via social media and via news and media outlets.
Before the official schedule release, there have been announcements of games that rule out some weeks for the Cardinals and certain opponents. And there will certainly be leaks as well leading up to the announcement.

Here is what we know about the Cardinals' schedule so far.
Arizona Cardinals schedule leaks, announcements
- We know the Cardinals won't face the 49ers, Rams, Chiefs, Broncos, Cowboys or Giants in Week 1. The 49ers and Rams play in Melbourne. The Cowboys and Giants are the first Sunday night game, and the Broncos and Chiefs are the first Monday night game of the season.
- We know the Cardinals won't play in any of the international games.
- We know they will not play the Lions in Week 2, as Detroit plays Thursday night on the road against the Bills in their new stadium.
- We know they won't play the Cowboys in Week 3, as the Cowboys and Ravens will play in Rio de Janeiro.
- We know they won't play the Saints in Week 7, as New Orleans plays the Steelers in Paris that week.
- We know they won't play the 49ers in Week 11, as the 49ers and Vikings will play in Mexico City.
- They won't play the Rams in Week 12, as the Rams and Packers play in a Wednesday Thanksgiving Eve game.
- They won't play the Cowboys or Eagles in Week 12, as the two teams battle on Thanksgiving.
The first leak about one of the Cardinals' games comes from OzzyNFL, who nailed the international matchups before they were announced. The Cardinals are rumored to face the New York Giants on the road in Week 4.
