Aaron Rodgers Reveals Retirement Date From NFL
· Yahoo Sports
After agreeing to return for another year with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Aaron Rodgers has signed up to play a 22nd season in the NFL. The future Hall of Fame quarterback will be 42 when the season kicks off, and he’ll turn 43 on December 2.
Yet, prior to last week’s recommitment to the Steelers, there had been some growing doubt about whether Rodgers would suit up for another season. It turns out that was just more classic deliberation from an all-time great fading into the twilight of his career, just as his Packers predecessor Brett Favre used to do.

But don’t expect the same charade next offseason. Rodgers now claims that he knows when he’ll be done playing football.
Speaking on Wednesday, Rodgers admitted that he’ll be retiring at the end of the 2026 NFL season.

A four-time NFL MVP winner and former Super Bowl champion, Rodgers has already put together the type of résumé that will earn him a bronze bust in Canton. Though he clearly has the competitive drive to see if he’s capable of doubling his Super Bowl ring total, this time, accomplishing the feat with the same head coach, but on a different team.
