The Carolina Panthers kicked off the 2026 edition of organized team activities without their top pass catcher in uniform.
Second-year wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan did not fully participate during Tuesday's practice session in Charlotte. Head coach Dave Canales, who spoke with reporters after the outing, was asked about McMillan's status.

"He had some foot soreness," Canales stated. "It wasn't anything alarming. But again, at this point, we don't want things to kind of build up and turn into some type of nagging, chronic type of deal."
Carolina selected McMillan with the eighth overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft. He went on to lead the team with 70 catches for 1,014 yards and seven touchdowns en route to being named the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Canales added that he hopes to get McMillan back on the field within the "next week or two."
