Titans' Will Levis's mom explains taking down explicit video

Being a celebrity comes with a lot of things. Money. Fame. Trolls. Naysayers. Papparazzi. Support. Love. Some of those things are amazing and should be relished, while others, well, you'd wish they'd go away.
Unfortunately, Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis experienced a negative aspect of becoming a celebrity in May of 2024 when an explicit video of him and his then-girlfriend was leaked on social media. Levis's mom recently discussed what her son had to do to get that video taken down on a recent podcast hosted by NFL reporter Ross Tucker.

"Will actually ended up engaging in hiring a cybersecurity specialist and spent an exorbitant amount of money to try to get to the bottom of this," Beth Levis said. "Ultimately, a lot of the content was taken down, but you can never scrape anything entirely from the internet. It’s there forever. There is a footprint, unfortunately."
Anytime something is posted on the internet, there is always a footprint, no matter the amount of scrubbing. Levis is fortunate to have had the resources he did to eliminate as much of the content as he could. He hasn't spoken publicly about the incident, either, preferring to handle it in his own quiet fashion.
Levis was drafted by the Titans in 2023, but struggled under Brian Callahan. He missed the entire 2025 season after undergoing shoulder surgery, and he made his first appearance on the field with his team when OTAs started on May 21. With Cam Ward as the unequivocal starter, Levis's job is to get back into game shape so he can be ready if he's called upon.
