Florida State recruiting: 2027 defensive lineman Eric Vaulx Jr. commits
· Yahoo Sports
The Seminoles have been quiet on the recruiting trail but made some noise today as the first weekend of official visits comes to a close. Defensive lineman Eric Vaulx Jr. has given his verbal commitment to Florida State.
Vaulx is a 6’2, 265-pound defensive lineman from Lake Cormorant (Mississippi). 247 Composite has him as a 3-star and the 439th best player in the nation (51st best DL, 14th best player in MS). I think there is a good chance Vaulx will finish as a blue-chip as long as he stays healthy his senior year.

Vaulx had a very productive junior campaign, notching 75 tackles (18 for loss), six sacks, three fumble recoveries, a forced fumble, and three blocked kicks. Florida State got in on Vaulx early and Terrance Knighton managed to beat out fellow finalists Tennessee and Missouri as well as a dozen others who offered, including Oklahoma, Auburn, Colorado, Mississippi State, and Arkansas.
Vaulx becomes Florida State’s seventh commitment in Tribe27.
