Chiefs, Super Bowl champion lineman agree to 'explore trade options'

· Yahoo Sports

According to NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, the Kansas City Chiefs "have agreed to explore trade options" for veteran offensive lineman Wanya Morris.

A member of the Chiefs' Super Bowl LVIII roster, Morris was selected by Kansas City in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft and has made 16 starts for the team during his three-year tenure in Western Missouri.

While Morris never blossomed into a star under the direction of Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, the former Oklahoma Sooner has valuable experience that could make him an enticing target for teams that are in need of some extra beef on their front five.

The report of Kansas City's willingness to trade Morris came on the same day that the Chiefs kicked off their mandatory OTAs, though it is unclear if the two matters are in any way related.

Stay tuned to Chiefs Wire to find out if Morris will find a new home during the 2026 NFL offseason.
