Why is Future performing during the World Cup opening ceremony?

Every four years for the World Cup, the host country will have an opening ceremony. In this case, this will feature a group of artists to perform as part of the start of the World Cup. Future is one of the six names on this list for the U.S.

What time is the World Cup Opening Ceremony?

Each of the three host countries will have their own unique opening ceremony. Future will be performing at the United States opening ceremony, which takes place on Friday, June 12 at 7:30 p.m. ET

The ceremony will be at SoFi Stadium, which the World Cup is referring to as Los Angeles Stadium. This ceremony begins 90 minutes before the start of the United States' opening match against Paraguay.

The United States is in Group D for the qualifying stage of the World Cup. This means that they'll have to contend with Paraguay, Australia and Turkey in their first three matches. A top three finish among these four teams will qualify the U.S. for the knockout stage.
