CBS Bracketology: # 1 With A Bullet

It’s kind of pointless to talk about bracketology in June, but that doesn’t mean it’s not fun, and CBS’s latest effort should make Duke fans feel pretty good.

In the first 76-team field, Duke gets the #1 seed in the East. Also projected from the ACC: Virginia as the #3 seed in the West, Louisville as the #5 seed in the East, Miami as the #6 team in the Midwest, UNC as the #7 team in the South, Clemson as the #8 team in the Midwest, NC State as the #10 seed in the West, and Virginia Tech as the 12 seed in the South,

That would be a pretty solid year if it comes to pass.

As for the other #1 seeds, UConn gets the honor in the Midwest, Florida in the South, and Houston in the West.

It’s all pointless speculation, as noted, but given Duke’s depth and talent, it’s shaping up to be another fun season.
