The Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs in five games in the 2026 NBA Finals to win their first championship in more than half-a-century.
The 53-year drought was the fifth longest active streak in the NBA, only behind the Clippers (56), Suns (58), Hawks (68) and Kings (75).
It was a superb series for multiple Knicks players, but only one can be named NBA Finals MVP.
