What to expect with Banana Ball
Banana Ball is baseball with a comedic twist. Players perform dances and fun challenges like a coordinated circus while straddling within most baseball rules.
For example, scoring a run doesn’t immediately add to your score. The game is scored by awarding a point to the team who scored the most runs in that inning.
This rule applies through eight innings.
Here are the rules of Banana Ball
Consider this your cheat sheet to know what to expect if you are attending game.

What is the Showdown Tiebreaker?
The Showdown Tiebreaker are the rules of overtime. Each showdown requires the hitter to score to earn a point. If the defense gets the hitter out, the hitter earns no points and the out is called a Showdown Shutdown.
Round 1 puts the pitcher, catcher and fielder against one hitter. Round 2 puts a pitcher and catcher against one hitter. Round 3 adds a second fielder with the bases loaded.
If the game is still tied after three showdowns, the teams keep playing with the bases loaded and one fielder until one team wins.

Yes, fans are allowed to challenge an umpire’s call.
What is the golden batter rule?
