According to a probable cause affidavit, Singh allegedly sent Cunningham numerous threatening and explicit messages via his social media accounts, and his behavior began to escalate in February.
He also hand-delivered a package at Gainbridge Fieldhouse addressed to "Sophie," according to the affidavit. When security opened the package they found a Guns N Roses t-shirt sprayed with cologne and a letter that read:
"Dear Sophie, Thank you for a very special season (heart emoji) I never watched the WNBA (or Tik Tok) before you arrived, and hop you’re enjoying your time in Indiana, as much as fans have enjoyed ALL that you’ve brought to us and our FEVER (three heart emoji’s) The beads were blessed in HIS name by a Cardinal visiting Scottish Rite Cathedral in Indy. I’ve given them to family and close friends over the years. Your Metallica shirt gave me the idea to add GN’R to your collection; and I’ve tried everything else to get your attention (smile emoji). I hope you hit me up! Your Friend & Fan"
The affidavit states the alleged behavior became increasingly threatening to the point team security contacted Singh, eventually resulting in the criminal charges.
“Coming forward is never easy, regardless of a person's position or public profile," Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears said in a statement. "No one should have to endure harassment, intimidation or threats of violence, and every person deserves to feel safe in their workplace and throughout our community."
Singh is charged with stalking and intimidation, both felonies, and harassment, a misdemeanor.
It's the second time a person has been charged with stalking allegations involving an Indiana Fever player. In July 2025, a separate man was sentenced to nearly 2.5 years in prison after pleading guilty to stalking and harassment.
