Is there a cut at the Travelers Championship?
The Travelers is one of five signature events that does not feature a 36-hole cut. Everyone in the field plays all 72 holes so there will be no Friday evening drama of golfers chasing a weekend tee time.
Where is the Travelers Championship being played?
TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut, is a Robert J. Ross/Maurice Kearney design. It was most recently was renovated by Bobby Weed after many architects made changes over the past century. Founded as Middletown Golf Club in 1928, it became Edgewood Country Club in 1934. The PGA Tour took over the property in the 1980s, and Pete Dye redesigned a layout that reopened in 1982 as TPC of Connecticut. The golf course will play 6,844 yards (short by most PGA Tour venue standards) and will be a par 70.
