Prosecutors are not yet arguing Arnold's guilt for charges of robbery and kidnapping at the hearing. They are instead arguing that Arnold's crimes are serious enough that he should be denied bond and that the cornerback should be kept in jail until his trial at a later date.

Arnold is charged with three counts of kidnapping, three counts of armed robbery, one count of conspiracy to kidnap and one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

"Arnold is accused of coordinating and directing … codefendants to lure three men to an apartment where the victims were robbed, beaten, and held at gunpoint," the Florida state attorney's office in Hillsborough County announced in a press release on Wednesday, June 24.
