Dianna Russini has been making headlines since her pictures with New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel from a resort in Arizona went viral in April.

Months after the leaked Sedona images, The New York Times published a story on Russini, which highlighted one of Russini’s interviews from January, where she said she got out of a texting-while-driving ticket by FaceTiming an NFL head coach who was not Vrabel.

However, days after the NYT article, bodycam footage from the incident was released, showing Russini using Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell’s name to persuade the officer not to issue her a ticket.

Reacting to the footage, EmmanuelAcho said on Wednesday:

“Lameness doesn’t discriminate, ’cause you’re thinking like athletes are the ones doing that. I’ve never done that. To me, that’s just like weak. I’ve never been like, ‘Do you know who I am?’ Because if they don’t know who you are, then you’re not popping.

“I’ve never done that before. So, I’ve just me personally, I’ve never done the, you know, ‘Do you know who I am?’ That’s just … it’s weak to me. But that was hella weak ’cause she was trying everything. She name-dropped every coach possible. ‘Oh, let me show you a text.’

“Like, bro, just don’t you want to see? One second. You were making $800,000. Take the ticket and keep it pushing. Like, that was really, I hate that that got exposed.”

Analyst Labels Dianna Russini a Clown for Lying About FaceTiming an NFL Head Coach

One of the things that’s raising many eyebrows about Russini’s ticket situation is that on her podcast appearance, she claimed she FaceTimed an NFL head coach. However, the bodycam footage revealed she only showed the police officer her texts with Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell.

Boston sports radio host Marc Bertrand spoke about Russini’s alleged lie about the FaceTime story on Tuesday’s edition of the “98.5 The Sports Hub” show.

“Is it worse to break sort of ethical standards and be an idiot trying to FaceTime an NFL reporter?” Bertrand said. What a clown act that is. Or is it worse to brag about it and then have it not be true? Which thing do you think is worse? To just be full of crap and everyone knows you’re full of crap?”

The New York Times reacted to the discrepancy between the bodycam footage and what Russini claimed in her podcast appearance, saying it might’ve been another incident altogether.
