Cowboys UDFA will try one more time, maybe final time, to earn spot
· Yahoo Sports
2023 undrafted free agent Princeton Fant had been a part-time special team contributor for the Dallas Cowboys his first two seasons in the league. Appearing in 10 games total, including eight in 2024, his position became tenuous when the regime change happened. With John Fassel out, and Nick Sorensen in, Fant wasn't seen as an integral member to the special teams unit, appearing in just one game last season.

Yet once again, Fant is being presented with an opportunity to prove his worth. He's the fourth tight end on the depth chart of a team that normally carries three on the 53-man roster, and will have to fend off a new set of UDFA competition before securing any role with the organization.
