Austin Trout put on a show on his way to the ring at BKFC Liberty Bell, but then he left on the wrong end of a highlight.
Former boxing champion Trout saw his unbeaten run under the BKFC banner come to a vicious end Friday when he got caught by a massive overhand right 30 seconds into Round 2 of his headliner against Ben Bonner at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia.

The victory earned Bonner the BKFC lightweight championship for the second time in his career, and spoiled Trout's moment where he recreated Apollo Creed's famous walkout from Rocky IV.

It was the first time Trout, 40, has been knocked out in combat sports in such a manner. His lone stoppage loss prior came via retirement in a boxing match vs. Jarrett Hurd in Octobr 2017.
