Brahim Diaz’s Morocco vs France press conference interrupted by journalist altercation

Brahim Diaz’s press conference ahead of Morocco against France was interrupted by two journalists clashing at the back of the room.

The 26-year-old was speaking about his team’s chances of beating France before the two journalists at the back started shouting at one another.

One man suggested the other hit him, which could be heard on BBC Sport’s coverage: “Why did you hit me? You can’t hit me. He hit me! No, he hit me!”

Diaz’s face during the altercation was quite a picture as he went from initial shock to quickly finding the situation rather amusing.

A FIFA media official quickly attempted to defuse the situation before the Real Madrid forward was able to continue speaking.

Diaz and Morocco face a tough test against France on Thursday and will be bidding to generate one of the biggest upsets in recent World Cup history.
