Djokovic practice session before Wimbledon SF indicates he is somewhat injured
· Yahoo Sports
Novak Djokovic is as close to an ageless wonder in professional tennis as we have seen.
He seemingly can play very little tennis between Grand Slams and still be prepared mentally and physically for deep runs in the tournaments.

As Djokovic prepares for his Wimbledon semifinal match with Jannik Sinner on Friday, he hit the practice court; however, fans worry he is not 100% for this match.

What Djokovic is wearing
His left calf was bandaged. No official word on the reason except social media said it was tweaked in the quarterfinal marathon match against Felix Auger Aliassime.

Fans recall that in the latter stages of that match he was stretching, but that is not unusual behavior for him in long matches. No one attributed it to an injury.

Everyone somewhat injured in second week
It is a rare athlete that does not feel some physical ailments, regardless of age, in the second week of a Grand Slam tournament.
That is particularly true for the men who play best-of-five set matches only in Grand Slams.
Will Djokovic’s issue impact him? If anyone can overcome it, he can. He is 5-6 head-to-head against Sinner but won the last match at the 2026 Australian Open in five sets. That win broke a five win match streak for Sinner against Djokovic dating back to 2023.
