The Phoenix, Arizona, native was considered one of the prize recruits in the 2023 recruiting class. The former five-star recruit showed his athletic ability not just in football, but also in baseball, as he was drafted in the 20th round of the 2022 MLB Draft. Robinson chose to turn down the MLB and head to USC, where he would go on to play both sports.
During his two seasons with the Trojans, Robinson logged 39 receptions for 747 yards, including seven touchdowns. His 19 yards per catch average was the highest over those two seasons while at USC.
Though he enjoyed success as a Trojan, Duce was on a roster with future Bliennitkoff winner Makai Lemon and future third-round pick Jakobi Lane. The Trojans were not able to extend a suitable NIL package to their third receiver, so Robinson hit the transfer portal and headed to Tallahassee.
This move proved to be an instant success as Duce racked up 56 receptions for 1,081 yards with six touchdowns. His 19.3 yards per catch also led the Noles in his first year. For his efforts, Robinson was named All-ACC.
After five games of 100 yards receiving and a 173-yard performance against East Texas A&M, Robinson established himself as not only an elite player within the ACC but also a player to be looked at as one of the nation's best.
Robinson's unique skill set includes a crazy catch radius and terrific body control, which makes him highly favored in contested catch situations. He’s a true red-zone threat when considering his height, vertical jumping ability, and skill at boxing out defenders.
NFL scouts love his physical tools and see him as a first-round player if he can continue to improve in areas like route running. For his size, he runs well, and if he can run 4.5 in the 40 (or below), he’s almost certain to be selected on day one of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Robinson will be on many people's watch list as the nation's top receiver, and with a full off-season under his belt, Robinson will be able to add his name to a list of former Florida State receivers who were drafted into the NFL. Robinson will be one many people's radar for All-American if he has a year similar to 2025.
