Tyler Herro’s stance on pursuing ‘legal action’ after Bam Adebayo’s alleged punch revealed

Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo have already become enemies, albeit having been teammates for seven seasons.

With the Miami Heat sending Tyler Herro to the Milwaukee Bucks in a trade package for Giannis Antetokounmpo, it’s obvious that Bam Adebayo is the franchise’s cornerstone player.

Since the trade, Herro has taken multiple shots at his former teammate and franchise. But things reached a boiling point when the two met at a Summer League game in Las Vegas.

After all, Adebayo reportedly punched Herro in the face when the former teammates reunited just days after the blockbuster Antetokounmpo trade.

Shams Charania reveals if Bam Adebayo could face legal actions for punching Tyler Herro

The Adebayo-Herro altercation has become a massive talking point in the NBA, especially considering it could mean legal trouble for the Heat center.

However, according to NBA insider Shams Charania, Herro is currently not pursuing a legal route after Adebayo’s alleged punch.

“There is believed to be surveillance footage available to be reviewed, but at this point, no word on any investigation from the NBA. This is believed to be an off-court situation. Tyler Herro is not pursuing any legal action as of right now, of course,” Charania said.

He added, “And my understanding is both Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo here today on Monday want to move on from this situation. But obviously, there was lingering effects from this throughout on Friday.”

The veteran NBA insider also revealed that many players have entered the equation to help Herro and Adebayo get past this altercation.

Either way, NBA fans will surely be in for a high-stakes game when the Bucks and Heat face off against each other during the regular season.
