Trump’s granddaughter’s 8-word response to politics question says it all

Kai Trump isn’t interested in entering the political spotlight.

During an appearance at the ESPY’s on Wednesday, President Donald Trump’s granddaughter was asked about Trump’s attempt to integrate sports into America’s 250th anniversary.

Specifically, the interviewer wanted to know about her experience attending UFC Freedom 250, the fighting event that took place at the White House on June 14.

“I kind of stay out of politics completely,” Kai said in a clip shared on X.

Kai Trump has built a social media following through YouTube, posting videos at different events with her grandfather. Her most recent clips include the UFC event at the White House, attending an NBA Finals game at Madison Square Garden and playing golf with her grandfather at Trump National Golf Club in Washington, D.C., among others.

“I just like showing my life and showing how, you know, you can still be an athlete and you can still do a ton of other things, enjoy it, totally other things,” she continued.
“So I just kind of like just showing people that everything’s possible. And I love just showing the new generation... my progress, I guess, through college, eventually, but obviously how I got to where I am today.”

Kai Trump is a professional golfer. She made her pro debut in November 2025, finishing last in the 108-player field at The Annika in Belleair, Fla. where she shot a 13-over 83 in the 108-player field.
