The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team.

Here is defensive lineman P.J. Mustipher.
P.J. Mustipher background, 2025 season
After spending the entire 2024 season on the Cardinals practice squad, the 6-foot-4, 320-pound Mustipher was on the active roster for the entire 2025 season and played 15 games. He played 300 defensive snaps (30 percent) and 78 (20 percent) on special teams. On defense, he totaled 32 tackles (11 solo/one for loss) and also had a pass defensed.
P.J. Mustipher contract details, cap hit
His contract for 2026 is for the minimum $1.075 million with no guaranteed money. His salary-cap charge is also $1.075 million.
Questions he faces, roster outlook
Mustipher is 26 years old and will be 27 on Nov. 10. He has shown improvement during his time with the Cardinals, but unless there are injuries, he could have a difficult time making the roster. However, he would be a candidate for the practice squad again and be ready to contribute if needed.
