Seahawks starting right guard Anthony Bradford had his share of struggles in 2025, and the position is one that may experience a changing of the guard in 2026.

According to Seattle Seahawks on SI’s Jeremy Brener, the right guard position is the one slot that the Seahawks are happy they don’t have to answer at the present, with Beau Stephens being an incumbent to take over for Bradford.

“Stephens will need time to develop, as every rookie does,” Brener said. “If he proves to be someone that can contribute right away, the Seahawks might as well give him that opportunity to showcase his skills in hopes of getting better in the trenches.”

Stephens was a standout offensive lineman at Iowa in 2025. He will get the opportunity to vie for a meaningful role at right guard in 2026 after Bradford allowed three sacks and 28 total pressures last season.
