Kaizer Chiefs transfer news: Goalkeeper sent out on loan

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari has completed a season-long loan move to newly promoted Betway Premiership side Kruger United ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The Rwandan international will spend the upcoming season with the Mpumalanga-based club as he looks to secure regular first-team football after struggling for game time at Naturena.

Kruger United, who earned promotion to South Africa’s top flight for the first time, have strengthened their squad with the addition of the experienced shot-stopper as they prepare for life in the Betway Premiership.
Top-flight experience
For Kaizer Chiefs, the move is expected to benefit both player and club, allowing Ntwari to gain valuable top-flight experience while remaining under contract with Amakhosi.
Ntwari becomes the fifth confirmed Kaizer Chiefs player to leave the club during a busy off-season, joining George Matlou, Tashreeq Morris, Happy Mashiane and Aden McCarthy in departing Naturena.
The 25-year-old will now hope to establish himself as Kruger United’s first-choice goalkeeper and play a key role in helping the newcomers maintain their Betway Premiership status.
Meanwhile, the Glamour Boys signed their third player ahead of the new season on Tuesday when Tanzania international defensive midfielder Adolf Bitegeko put pen to paper with the Soweto giants.
Bitegeko joins defender Thabo Moloisane and goalkeeper Renaldo Leaner as new recruits at the club.
