Training Camp is right around the corner for the Atlanta Falcons. Plenty of new changes, position battles, and injury concerns to keep an eye on before preseason begins.
On this week’s Falcons Roundtable, the staff gives their thoughts on some of the most interesting storylines heading into the first training camp under new head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Rookies officially report to training camp today; which one are you most excited to see?Michael Brauner: It has to be Zachariah Branch. He already made some noise in OTAs, and if he doesn’t look out of place early on, he could wind up being a big piece of this offense early, which would be very exciting.
Christian Rauh: It’s got to be Avieon Terrell for me. I want to see if he can make a big enough splash in his first offseason camp to make an immediate impact on the field in the regular season next to his brother A.J. That’s just the type of story I love to see get fulfilled.
The rest of the team reports on Wednesday. Is there a position battle you are ready to lock into?MB: Outside of quarterback, obviously, I’m curious to see how things stack up at wide receiver behind Drake London. Whether it be Branch, Jahan Dotson, Olamide Zaccheaus, or someone else, someone is gonna have to step up.
CR: I want to see who steps up on the defensive front. They didn’t add a solid ‘proven’ name, although it is extremely likely James Pearce Jr. will miss some time. Depth at this spot is going to be crucial to begin the year.
Do you think the front office will make another splash during training camp? (contract extension, free agent signing, etc)MB: It still feels like an extension is coming for Bijan Robinson. There are edge rushers out there in free agency still, but Atlanta would love to get some clarity on the James Pearce situation before making a move there. Look for Robinson to be locked up before the season, though
CR: I’m with Michael here, Bijan is going to get extended. I wouldn’t mind seeing an extra wide receiver added to the mix. Possibly a Deebo Samuel maybe?
