Two years after that run, the Rock Hill, S.C. native and University of South Carolina great signed on with his hometown Panthers. He'd go on to tie for a team-leading 5.5 sacks in 2024, but was released prior to entering the second season of his two-year pact.

Clowney moved on to become a member of the Dallas Cowboys in 2025. He'd record 41 combined tackles, 8.5 sacks, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries over just 13 outings.

Now 33 years old, the former No. 1 overall pick may be set to chalk up his eighth NFL stop into his 13th campaign.
