Stephen Jones stirred the pot on Friday

Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones took to the radio airwaves of 105.3 The Fan on Friday and in his appearance he stirred the pot of rumors. The Cowboys have been connected to Maxx Crosby all offseason basically, but the fire that had dimmed had a dumping of kerosene early this week when Jerry Jones fielded a quesiton about the Raiders’ star pass rusher during Dallas’ press conference to open traiing camp.

Stephen’s words on The Fan were not exactly pointed, but he basically said the Cowboys are interested in something.

Stephen also left room for the possibility of bringing in a veteran. We know that there are players out there like Von Miller who would relish the opportunity to play for Dallas, so maybe somebody of that variety.

Do you think the Cowboys are legitimately cooking something up? Or do you think this is just talk on an off day?
