Maghnes Akliouche From Monaco to PSG: Here we go Finally
· Yahoo Sports
As the opening game of the 27/27 season for PSG against Premier League side Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup draws ever closer, less than two weeks now, the summer transfer window leading up to it is really beginning to heat up.

Despite the incredibly successful two years that the club have had, it has been accepted that there would be a partial rebuild this summer. Not cosmetic surgery or anything like that, but the truth is when you have a squad as good as PSG have had, there are players who will want to leave for game time.
Owing to that, we have seen Goncalo Ramos depart the club to join Italian side AC Milan, whilst Kang-in Lee has joined Atletico Madrid in Spain. Meanwhile, Bradley Barcola continues to be linked with a move away.
As you would expect, these players need replacing. The club have been trying to sign Barcelona forward Ferran Torres as a replacement for Ramos, whilst last night it emerged that Mika Godts of Ajax was the player lined up to replace Barcola.
Well, we now know who will be replacing Lee. Indeed so, as Fabrizio Romano has given the "Here we go" for PSG to sign AS Monaco winger Maghnes Akliouche, after what feels like a long transfer saga.
He states that the fee is 50 million Euros, and that the player will undergo his medical next week, signing a five year contract at the Parc Des Princes.
Although in isolation, 50 million Euros is a lot of money, considering some of the fees you see thrown about in today's market, particularly in the Premier League, this feels like a fairly good deal for Luis Enrique's side.
A big plus to signing Akliouche is that, being a France international, he already knows a number of the players in the team (including fellow new pending signing, Lucas Digne), meaning that it should be easier for him to settle in. Plus the fact he already plays in Ligue 1, speaks the language, etc etc. Pretty decent.
Generally speaking, Akliouche and Doue feels like pretty good depth off the right hand side for next season. Although he was part of the France national team at the World Cup, the 24-year old played very little over the summer, so should be pretty fresh and ready to go. Perhaps we will see him start in the game against Villa, all being well.
