TKO Group Holdings recently released its latest financial results, revealing that the White House event resulted in an estimated $30 million loss for the company. Notably, the event didn’t generate any ticket revenue because it was invite-only. The promotion recouped some of the cost through sponsorships and other commercial partnerships.
“With regards to UFC Freedom 250, we incurred significantly higher than normal costs, which we partially offset with sold-out global partnerships inventory,” TKO chief financial officer Andrew Schleimer said during a call with investors. “As a reminder, we did not sell tickets and therefore did not record any live events revenue. Given the event’s profile, which as anticipated, resulted in an approximate $30 million loss, our margins at UFC as well as on a consolidated basis were meaningfully impacted.”
While initial estimates suggested the event could cost more than $60 million, additional commercial partnerships helped reduce the financial burden. Nevertheless, this financial setback did little to slow down UFC’s growth.
TKO reported that UFC revenue jumped 29% in the second quarter of 2026 compared with the same period last year, increasing from $419.8 million in Q2 2025 to $535.7 million.
