Saints announce three roster moves ahead of Saturday’s practice

The New Orleans Saints have announced recent signings of DL Brien Taylor and Malaki Williams, while the team waived DL Zxavian Harris.

In two years with the Florida Gators, Brien Taylor accumulated 38 career tackles, including two sacks. Last season, Taylor also forced a fumble versus Mississippi State. He signs with New Orleans as an undrafted rookie following his recent tryout.
Malaki Williams attended the Saints’ rookie minicamp as a tryout player. The former Boise St. Bronco capped his collegiate career as a redshirt senior with 11 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and a forced fumble. Williams played the first four seasons of college football at the University of Idaho.
DL Zxavian Harris signed with the Saints in May as an undrafted free agent out of Ole Miss, but was cut shortly into training camp. Harris had surgery in March following the NFL Combine and missed his Pro Day workouts to remedy a foot injury. The 6’8” defender finished with more than 120 tackles in four seasons as a Rebel while earning 5.5 sacks and having an interception and a forced fumble.
