FedEx Cup 2026: Here are the 70 players who qualified for the postseason (and the first 5 out)

The top 19 spots in the FedEx Cup standings did not change after the Wyndham Championship. Scottie Scheffler, Matt Fitzpatrick, Cameron Young lead the way. But we didn’t come to Sedgefield Country Club to determine the top spots. We came to determine the final few spots.

Funny thing happened though. While the focus was on No. 70—the top 70 in FedEx Cup points advance to the FedEx St. Jude Championship next week—only one person played his way into the postseason.

When Michael Brennan won the Wyndham Championship he moved from No. 105 to 47th in the standings. Ultimately, that pushed out Steven Fisk, who started the week 69th, missed the cut in Greensboro and dropped to 71st.
Jackson Koivun, the all-world Auburn Tiger, came into the week at 70th and ended the week in the same spot, qualifying for the playoffs in only five starts as a professional. He had to wait until the bitter end to be certain he advanced because if Beau Hossler would've won the Wyndham, Koivun would've been bounced.
Reminder: the top 50 after the FedEx St. Jude Championship will qualify for the BMW Championship at Bellerive in St. Louis and from there the top 30 will qualify for the Tour Championship at East Lake in Atlanta.
